Nature has always been a huge part of my life. This exhibition has given me the opportunity to show you the things that fascinate me, my world of things to treasure!

Including Moss, The Sky and Fungi. I hope to show the viewer something new, a different way of looking, and capture my images with this in mind. Some of the images I have never printed before and am showing them now for the first time.

I am passionate about Photography; I began studying in 1990, when the traditional way was the only way available. Shooting full frame - no cropping, exposing film, developing the negative and making a print in the darkroom. Making the ultimate print is what it's all about. Hand printing each image is a really personal process and makes each print unique, a craft I love!

As soon as you are in Scotland in the open countryside, experiencing the 'four seasons in one day' weather, you can't help but notice the sky. Always changing from minute to minute, like a moving canvas. I see all sort of weird and wonderful things in the clouds and show a selection of my observations.

I have become increasingly obsessed with Moss and Lichen since moving to Perthshire in 2005. When you look at it closely, it gets more and more interesting, sucking you in to a whole new world of shapes and texture, prepare to enter a new dimension!

There is a type of nostalgia attached to fungi, a little mystical, Fairyland! I am showing a large selection with some new images taken in September and October 2006.
